
Arthur Fernandes, born on 03/05/77 in the city of Londrina, Paraná, is a notable figure in the world of music. His musical journey began to take shape in the Marching Band of the Marcelino Champagnat State School, where he took his first steps in 1989.
In 1991, Arthur began his studies with Naílson Simões and in 1993 with Cícero Cordão and other renowned teachers. Since then, he has dedicated himself tirelessly to improving his skills and expanding his knowledge in the field of music.
Arthur Fernandes has actively participated in several prestigious courses and festivals throughout Brazil, including the Music Festivals of Londrina, Brasília, São João da Boa Vista, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Vitória, Volta Redonda and Bauru. At these events, he had the opportunity to hone his skills under the guidance of masters such as Naílson Simões, Anor Luciano, Fernando Dissenha, Charles Schlueter (Former Boston Symphony Orchestra) and Fred Mills (Former Canadian Brass Quintet). In addition, he has shared the stage with these musical virtuosos on several memorable occasions.
His contribution to music is not limited to his training and performance as a trumpet player. Arthur also played a key role as a teacher, having taught for many years in Brazil's prestigious brass band, the Banda Marcial do Colégio Marcelino Champagnat.
In addition, he was invited to teach classes at the I and II Ourinhos-SP Music Festival (2001 and 2002) and at the I Palmas-PR Arts Festival (2006), where he shared his knowledge and inspired the next generation of talented musicians.
Throughout his career, Arthur Fernandes was a member of the Quinteto Metais do Paraná from 1995 to 2022, where he had the opportunity to perform alongside renowned international soloists, such as Fred Mills, Rex Richardson and Charles Schlueter, further elevating his status in the music scene.
In 2022, Arthur participated in several concerts at the Volta Redonda-RJ and Londrina-Pr Music Festivals with the Quinteto Metais do Paraná, with renowned trumpeters Naílson Simões and Charles Schlueter as soloists.
In addition to his achievements as a musician, Arthur Fernandes is the director of Coral Ébano, Electro Beat Orchestra and Ébano Produções, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to promoting music in various forms.
He is currently immersed in the recording process of a long-awaited CD and DVD of the Trumpet and Piano Duo and is graduating in Music (UniCesumar).
